Grilled Prosciutto Wrapped Peaches are a summer grilling recipe that's the perfect combination of salty and sweet! This simple recipe is SCD, Paleo, gluten free, grain free, dairy free, soy free, and refined sugar free.

The finished recipe on a white table.

Grilling peaches tends to bring out the natural, juicy sweetness of the fruit, and when you wrap those peaches in a salty little blanket of prosciutto that gets nice and crispy on the grill, you've got heaven!

The peaches get soft and almost caramel-y while the prosciutto crisps up. Together, you have a mouthwatering combination of sweet and salty!

We've had these prosciutto wrapped peaches as a snack, appetizer, as a side with chicken, and even as breakfast with some scrambled eggs on the side.

Two grilled peach halves wrapped in prosciutto and garnished with honey and fresh herbs.

It's also absolutely amazing when served with a scoop of my Dairy-Free Vanilla Ice Cream!

There really is no wrong way to eat this grilled fruit!

    Ingredients

Recipe ingredients on a white table.

Olive Oil - If you prefer, avocado oil can be used instead.

Fresh Oregano - Oregano is a very strong herb, if you're not a fan of the flavor, feel free to omit.

    Directions

Preheat your grill to medium-high, then cut the peaches in half and remove the pits (photo 1).

Wrap each peach half with a piece of prosciutto (photos 2 and 3). Some pieces of prosciutto can be fairly wide so you may need to fold in half lengthwise before wrapping the peaches.

Rub a little bit of oil all over the prosciutto and peaches before placing them directly on the grill grates (photos 4 and 5).

Cook, with the grill top open, for 3 to 5 minutes before gently flipping the peaches and cooking the other side for an additional 3 to 5 minutes (photo 6).

The peaches should be soft and the prosciutto should be crisp.

Transfer them to a plate and drizzle with as much or as little honey as you'd like!

Sprinkle this grilled peach appetizer with some fresh thyme and oregano and serve warm!

    What if I don't have a grill?

No grill? No problem! Place your oiled prosciutto wrapped peaches in an oven safe baking dish and bake at 400F for about 10 minutes or until the fruit is soft and the prosciutto is bubbly and crisp!

Serve warm along with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of fresh thyme.

    What about leftovers?

If you have any leftovers, simply store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.

I suggest placing them in a preheated 350F oven to reheat them. This will help the prosciutto crisp up again.
